Browns midfielder, Anthony Walker Jr., took off from the field on a wagon Thursday night against the Steelers

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Browns quarterback Anthony Walker Jr. walked off the field on a bandwagon with 10:34 left in the third quarter of the Browns-Stillers game Thursday night.

Brown’s players knelt around Walker as he lay face-down on the field. Eventually he was rolled onto his back and loaded onto a cart with a pneumatic block on his left leg. It was officially excluded.

Walker descended chasing an on-screen play and it appeared Steelers offensive lineman Chukuma Okurafor stepped on his leg.

Walker won a job as the Browns’ quarterback at training camp and is usually the player who calls up the team’s defensive signals. He was replaced by third-year quarterback Jacob Phillips.

Walker is one of the captains of the Browns team.
