This time it was no different. Days before the 2014 Open, the 45-time PGA Tour winner plunged into a conversation with a media house. During the conversation, he revealed that he drank $400 million worth of wine from a jug to celebrate the win.

“I’ve loved having a jug with me for the past 12 months,” He began.

“People who know and love the game get a big kick out of it. They really appreciate what it means to hold such a famous trophy. and drink from it. I just let them drink the good stuff of course. There was nothing substandard,” He added as well.

Heading toward the end, he walked down the memorial aisle, recalling his biggest celebration. Drinking a bottle of Roman Conte wine in 1990. “But the best was a 1990 bottle of Roman Conte wine. It wasn’t on my year, thank God. It costs about $40 thousand,” confirmed.
