And if we talk about the the trendiest recipes of the year, then TikTok definitely needs to be part of the conversation. Just think of all the mouthwatering recipes that have surfaced on the platform this year alone to make our mouths water. (Remember that The TikTok star went viral to create the most popular recipes from each of the 50 states? Or what about those butter boards who took over social media? ! We rest our case.)

With all this talk of TikTok’s trending recipes, you’re probably feeling inspired to take a look at the app and find some goodies yourself. But if you’re intimidated by the unending scrolling, don’t worry! Google stepped in and released its annual report The year in research based on data collected over the past year. The report included searches for TikTok’s most popular recipes of the year.
Without further ado, here are the most trending TikTok recipes of 2022:
1. Cinnamon bun
2. Pink Sauce
3. Sandwich grinder
4. Green Goddess Salad
5. cowboy caviar
6. Marry Me Chicken
7. Salmon Rice Bowl
8. Pot roast
9. Mexican rice
10. Crab Rangoon
Going through this list, it’s hard to understand that some of these trends only happened this year. Where did the time go?!
But before we digress, there were definitely a few standout recipes that made this list. cowboy caviar, as you remember, kept the internet under control for quite some time (and still does!). The salsa dish, also called “Texas caviar”, is an excellent party appetizer which has components similar to our beloved pico de gallo Recipe.
We are not too shocked to see that Cinnamon brioches tops this list. It is a snack that can be enjoyed all year round. And that Pot roast? We are already preparing it as we speak!
